Collins, Wanda JoyceWanda Joyce Collins of Springhill, Fl and formerly of Greene, NY went into the arms of the Lord on May 29, 2011 after her courageous battle with her declining health. Mom was born September 27, 1933 and is the daughter of the late James and Mable Moorehead. She is predeceased by sisters Nora and Shirley Bernard, and brothers Roger, Donald, Robert, James and Richard. Also several beloved relatives. She is survived by a son Charles Wells, Jr., and two daughters Mary Collins and Diane Molinari. Also eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She worked for Chenango-Unadilla Phone Co. for 30 yrs. and Broome County Employment and Training and then retired to her desired longtime home in Florida. Mom loved being involved with her Church, singing, dancing and enjoying life with her little sister Shirley Bernard and her dearest best friend and second family Mary (Penny) Martin of Springhill, Fl, her daughters Dee, India and sons Buddy, Robert and Matthew who have been there at her side every step of the way. We would all love to thank the nursing staff at Springhill Health and Rehab Nursing Center on Unit 2 and Hernando County Hospice for all of their high quality loving care for Mom. Mom...you are sadly missed and just want you to be in a better place where you will no longer battle. Its time for you to rest. God bless you up there with a beautiful eternity with love, joy, peace and happieness...you most certainly deserve it. A graveside service will be held on Sunday June 12, 2011 at 3 PM at Sylvan Lawn Cemetary with Reverend Timothy Bennett officiating.
