Avis de décès de Wanda-Campbell Carter


Wanda Campbell Carter, 93, of Kingston passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge.She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Kingston since 1947. She loved sewing, cooking and growing flowers. Everyone knew the Carter Place on Paint Rock Ferry Road because of her beautiful flowers growing in her yard. She substituted at Cherokee School when it was an elementary school. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Martin Frederick Carter; her parents, Frank and Kate Campbell; and two sisters, Bill Campbell and Marie Smith.Survivors include two daughters, Cereta (Dave) Lamphere, Westford, Vt., and Becky (Ron) Kessing, Tempe, Ariz; a son, McCord Carter, Knoxville; five grandchildren, Diane (Cef) Delute of Santa Marie, Calif.; Cord (Stephanie) Lamphere, Penryn, Calif.; April Lamphere, Sacramento, Calif.,George (Elizabeth) Lamphere, Westford, Vt.; and Katie Marie Kessing, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and eight great-grandchildren;Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30, in Kyker Funeral Home chapel, Kingston, with the Rev. Wendy Neff officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at Roane Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Bethel Presbyterian Church, 203 S. Kentucky St., Kingston, TN 37763. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
