Walter W. Bell III1973 - 2003 SPRINGFIELD - Walter Wendell Bell III, 29, of Union Street, died Wednesday at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield, was a lifelong resident, and graduated from Putnam High School. He was employed as a security guard. He leaves his parents, Alpha (Arnold) Bell of Springfield and Walter Bell Jr.; his grandparents Hosea Arnold Sr. and Barbara Arnold of Springfield; his great-grandparents, Ludie and Jannette Arnold of Greenville, SC, and Lois Neely of Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Harrell Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The calling hour is from 10-11 a.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, 797 State St., Springfield, Ma. 01109.
