MALONE, WALTER K. "HECKY," 77, of Louisville, died Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Hosparus Inpatient Unit. He was a retired employee of American Standard, a retired employee of the United States Postal Services, a United States Air Force veteran and a member of Lampton Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Marcella Malone; two daughters, Sheila M. Malone and Debbie E. Ramsey; his stepchildren, Beverly, Wendell R., Ronald and Donald Stovall; one brother, Donald Malone; three sisters, Josephine Mills, Helen D. Fields and Roselle Merriewether; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lampton Baptist Church, 850 So. 4th St., with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday at the church. Perryman's Mortuary, 34th & Broadway, in charge of arrangements.
