WHEELER,WILLIAM FREDERICK, 84Homosassa - William Frederick Wheeler, Sr., 84 of Homosassa, FL, died Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012 at Hospice House of Citrus County in Lecanto. He was born Nov. 4, 1927 in Ocala, FL, son of the late Forrest Wheeler and Erma Mattaire Wheeler. Fred was superintendent for John H. Perry Industries of Ocala for 15 years and also worked for Typo Graphics of Orlando for 20 years. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, an avid golfer, fisherman and outdoorsman. In 1950, Fred and his wife Wanda were founders and charter members of St. Marks United Methodist Church of Ocala and have been members of the First United Methodist Church of Homosassa for the past 17 years. Fred was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He also loved all animals. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Wanda C. Wheeler of Homosassa; son, Fred Wheeler (Sherry) of Asheville, NC; daughter Cynthia Harrelson (Robin) of Jonesboro, GA; beloved grandchildren, Kyle Harrelson (Nicole) and Jessica Harrelson; great-grandchildren Brayden and Tatum; and brother Dr. Tom Wheeler, PhD (Nancy) of Raleigh, NC. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, July 6th, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Homosassa with Pastor Kip Younger officiating. A reception for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church. Graveside committal service will be held at St. Johns Cemetery of Cotton Plant in Ocala at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The procession will leave the church at 12:30 p.m. for the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fred may be given to Hospice of Citrus County. P.O.
