FLANAGAN William, 58, of Secaucus, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Meadowlands Hospital, Secaucus. Born in Jersey City, he later moved to Secaucus in 1971 with the family.Billy served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict in the United States Navy. He received his Honorable Discharge and came home and began working for the United States Post Office, Kearny for over 37 years. He retired as a Supervisor in 2008. He was also a member of the VFW Post 118 in Secaucus.He is survived by his four brothers Robert and his Wife Carol, Tommy and his wife Janet, Frank and his wife Michele, Joseph and his wife Susan, a Sister Florence and her Husband Tom Anton, 14 nieces and nephews and one great-niece Becky. He is Predeceased by his Parents the late John J. and the late Florence E. (nee Griffin) and two brothers the late John and the late Danny Flanagan.Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 9 AM at Mack memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington.The Family will receive Friends on Monday, July 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
