Vivian V. Davis, age 78, of Highlandville, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010, in Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born June 22, 1931 at Green Mound, Missouri, the daughter of Wade and Jessie (Arterberry) Whitlock. On August 25, 1945 she and Wilford E. Davis were united in marriage. He preceded her in death in 1997. Vivian was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and her flowers. She had been employed by Dayco Industries for 15 years. Survivors include four children, Marvonne Clower, Sparta, Dennis Davis and wife, Lynda, Saddlebrooke, Edward Davis, Nixa, and Teresa Moore and Jerry Wilson, Ozark; eight grandchildren, Denise Gilley and husband, Jack, Nicole Watkins and husband, Bill, Casey Clower, Lisa Davis, Joshua Davis, Joe Davis, Michael Wilson and Shawnna, and Dalton Moore; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis Johnson, Stockton, Calif, Peggy Whitlock, Sara Ann Couts, and June Salvadore and husband, Bob, all of Springfield.; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Tommy Bilyeu officiating. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday.
