Vivian F. Smith (nee Boyd) Hammond Vivian F. Smith (nee Boyd), age 84 of Hammond, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at Regency Place in Dyer. Vivian is survived by her children: Janice (Michael) Brzinski of Hammond, Roger (Paula) Smith of Kentucky and Larry Smith of Colorado; grandchildren: Stephen (Leah) Smith of Texas and Brian (Stacy) Brzinski of Griffith; great-grandchildren: Faith,Victoria, Paula, Beth and Daniel Smith, Isaac and Molly Brzinski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Geoffrey. Vivian was a special mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Schererville, IN with Edith Downes officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, August 20, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
