Vivian Oliver White Miller, 66, died Dec. 28, 2008, in Chicago. She was born Jan. 20, 1942, in Fort Pierce and lived in Chicago. She attended the public schools of St. Lucie County and was a graduate of Lincoln Park Academy. She received a bachelor of arts in elementary education from Tennessee State University. She was an educator with the Chicago Board of Education and Ricco Fermme Elementary School. She served as a teacher of all grade levels and was a volunteer helper and coach for cheerleaders and flag football teams. She was a member of Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, founded by her grandparents. Survivors include her daughter, Shauntee Miller, of Movers, Ga.; brother, Ernest White of Chicago; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edward Miller; son, Veryl Miller; and parents, Will and Clifford Virginia Sweet White. SERVICES: Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 5 followed by a funeral service at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
