HENDERSON _ Vivian passed away peacefully on March 22, 2007 at age 83. She leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, Philip, her children, Penny Hoy (Lloyd), June Hartley (Ken), Diane Findlay (Fred), Stuart Henderson (Lawanda), and Jacqueline Jones (Bruce). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Craig and Randy Hoy; Cliff Brown; Mark and Neil Findlay; Adam, Tanya and Jason Henderson; Landon Jones. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and her sister Rose Noyes. Predeceased by her granddaughter, Susan Brown (1990). Born in Burnaby to Harry and Elizabeth Pocock, Vivian spent almost her entire life in Burnaby and was a strong community volunteer to the IODE and Girl Guides. Her family, garden, pets, many homemaking talents and her community service provided a full and rewarding life for Vivian. She will be remembered as a vibrant woman with many talents and contributions to family and community. As requested by Vivian there will be no funeral but a gathering will be held April 14 at 2 pm, St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church, 1030 Sperling Ave, Burnaby, to reminisce and celebrate her life.
