->MADISON -- Vivian E. (Trafton) Davis, 74, passed away Feb. 7, 2007, at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan.She was born Aug. 26, 1932, in Wellington, the daughter of Leon E. and Gladys E. (Whitehouse) Trafton. She was educated in Wellington and Harmony schools. She married James B. Davis in March of 1950 in Skowhegan. He passed away March 11, 1981.Vivian was a homemaker for most of her life. She was part owner and bookkeeper for Davis Auto Sales from 1957 until 1981. She was a school bus driver for School Administration District 54 for many years, starting in the late 1960s. She enjoyed traveling, reading, dancing, and bowling in several leagues.She is survived by her loving and faithful companion, Bill Tash of Madison; six children, J. Bruce Davis of Greenville, Daryl Davis and his wife, Marilyn, of Bowdoin, Alan Davis and his wife, Shelley, of Jay, Gary W. Davis and his wife, Pam, of Fayette, Brett M. Davis and his wife, KerryAnn, of Madison and Elizabeth Gordon and her husband, Ben, of Madison; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Leah Bussell of Wellington; one brother, Lawrence "Butch" Trafton and his wife, Frances, of Wellington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was predeceased by one brother, Kleba Trafton and a very good friend, Bill Brush.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Federated Church on Island Avenue in Skowhegan. There will be a gathering in the fellowship hall at the Federated Church immediately following the service. Interment will be at noon Monday, Feb. 12, at Maine Veterans' Cemetery on Civic Center Drive in Augusta.Memorial contributions may be made in Vivian's memory to the Somerset Humane Society, P.O.
