SPARTANBURG, SC-- Vista Louise Parris Johnson, 85, of Spartanburg, died Monday, March 5, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born August 26, 1921, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Stella Solesbee Parris. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Lynn Horton Rudy and Marianne Gore, and two sons, James Johnson and Johnny Johnson, all of Boiling Springs; a brother, James Parris of Spartanburg; a sister, Hazel Riddle of Greenville; six grandsons; and six great-granddaughters.Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Gideon Long.
