Virginia "Ginni" Williams died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 following a 4-month battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by her loving family.She was born Aug. 30, 1937 in Muncie and grew up in Winchester the daughter of Dale and Miriam Braun. She attended Winchester High School and is a graduate of Indiana University - Purdue University at Ft. Wayne where she received an associates degree in interior design. She resided for 18 years in Defiance, Ohio, where she lovingly devoted herself to raising her four children. She later spend nine years in Ft. Wayne before relocating to Tuscon, Ariz. in 1994. Dudley and Ginni have been in Green Valley for the last nine years. Ginni was active at Holy Way Presbyterian Church in Tucson, the Valley Presbyterian Church in Green Valley, volunteered working at The Attic thrift shop at the Animal League of Green Valley, was an avid walker, played golf, crafted, played mahjong, loved to scrapbook and was a huge Purdue Boilermaker fan. Ginni will be deeply missed by her family, church, Dudley's AGR Fraternity Family and hundreds of good friends across the country. "Gone from our sight, but never our memories, gone from our touch, but never our hearts," a quote from Mom's Words of Wisdom Book.She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Dudley Williams; children, Deby (Jack) Eppolito of Buffalo, N.Y., Julie (Doug) Chitwood of Tipp City, Ohio, JD (Sue) Williams of El Paso, Texas, and Linda (Brett) Sulpizio of Lambertville, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, Jon (Judy) Christy, Miranda (Jeremy) Huffman, David Eppolito, Christopher (Molly) McCann, Brandon McCann, Michael Eppolito, Brittany (Devin) Smith, Lauren (Alec) Zimmerman, Jason Eppolito, Derek Sulpizio and Allison Chitwood; a great granddaughter, Lily McCann; and her faithful companion, Riley, her Westie. Ginni was hoping to welcome her second great grandchild, who will arrive later this month. A celebration of her life is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct 27 at First Presbyterian Church, 501 Washington Ave., Defiance, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, Ginni's family requests donations be sent to Holy Way Presbyterian Church, 4221 West Ajo Way, Tucson, Ariz., 85746 or The Green Valley Animal League, 1600 W. Duval Mine Rd., Green Valley, Ariz., 85614.
