ObituaryVirginia Sue Harper Johnson, 59, of Fort Myers passed away on April 2, 2009. She was born on March 14, 1950 in Montgomery, West Virginia and moved to Florida in 1954 from Dixie, WV. Virginia graduated from Cypress Lake High School in 1968 and had worked as a sales manager for Stanley's Army Navy.Virginia will be greatly missed by her children; son, Bobby (Kim) Johnson of MA; daughter, Karrie (Noah Thompson) Barrs of N. Fort Myers; son, TJ (Danyell) Johnson of N. Fort Myers; daughter, Sherri Privince of IL; brother, Bob (Julie) Bastic of WV; sister in law, Rose Anne (the late Pete) Harper of N. Fort Myers; sister, Robin (Johnnie) Olivares of E. Fort Myers; sister, Becky (Steve) Hanna of Lehigh Acres; brother, Jim (Jill) Bastic of Fort Myers; sister, Kathy (Lester) Butler of TN; grandchildren, Beau Johnson, Cassandra Barrs, Brett Barrs, Ashleigh Barrs, Derek Barrs, Cheyenne Johnson, Tucker Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Daylan Whitlen, Mary Haaser, Teri Haaser, and Jerry Haaser; great-grandchildren, Hayden Stephenson, Caresse Barrs, and Joseph Barrs.A memorial service will be held to celebrate Virginia's life on Tuesday, April 21st at 7:00 pm at National Cremation Society Chapel, 3453 Hancock Bridge Parkway, N. Fort Myers with a reception to follow at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lee County Hope Hospice.
