Funeral for Virginia Smith, 59, of Moulton will be Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.Mrs. Smith died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Smitty Smith; and sister, Elease Copeland. Survivors include one son, Gary Smith and his wife, Vondeca, of Moulton; one grandson, Cody W. Smith; two sisters, Evoin Grinfin of Mallard Creek and Marjorie Wimberley of Moulton; one half sister, Pauline Murphree; one half brother, George A. Burden of Moulton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Garod Hargett, Chris Queen, Joe Collier, P.J. Jones and Tyler Simmons.Family and friends will be gathering at Evoin Grinfin’s residence tonight after visitation and tomorrow after the service.
