Virginia Smith - Melbourne - Virginia Whitlock Smith passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009. She was 86 years old. Born in East Rainelle, WV on July 12, 1923, Virginia had been a resident of Melbourne for over 30 years. Predeceased by her husband, Samuel Aubrey Smith, Virginia is survived by her son, Ralph Perry, and her daughter-in-law, Sandra Hudspeth Perry. Her surviving sister, Lila Whitlock Sayre, lives in Arizona. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Jennifer Perry Tisch and Jeffrey Perry, and her great-grandchildren, Ryan Tisch, Joseph Tisch, Avery Tisch, and Drake Perry. There will be a graveside service for Virginia on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Virginia's memory to any charity.
