Virginia Quinn Woods, 89, of 1 Hoke Smith Blvd., died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Rolling Green Village. Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Woods was the widow of John Woods. She graduated from Limestone College and was an elementary school teacher with the public schools in Marion for 38 years. She was of the United Methodist faith. Surviving are a son, William Q. Woods; a daughter and son-in-law, Johanna W. and M. Johnston Dantzler; and a grandson, J. Woods Dantzler, all of Greenville; and two sisters, Belle Q. Ryder and Eunice Q. Kash, both of New York. Predeceased: Parents, Sherman and Joanna Parris Quinn. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Please honor Mrs. Woods with memorials to the Greenville Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC 29609. - Cremation Society of South Carolina is handling arrangements.
