CORYDON - Jones, Virginia Patrick, 89 of Corydon, IN, passed away February 27, 2013 at the Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. She was born in Mullens, WV, to Franklin D. Patrick and Viola Patrick Blankenship. She was co-owner of Guyandotte Electric and Appliance Co for 20 years. She was a member of the DAR, Eastern Star, a devote IU fan. She was the 2nd Vice President of Lomas & Nettleton in Virginia Beach, VA, from 1968-1985 and a member of the Old Capital United Methodist Church in Corydon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert R. Jones; and a brother, Franklin E. Patrick. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia J. Sieg (Darrel) of Corydon, IN; two grandchildren, Joanah (Tom) Wischmeier of Brownstown, IN and Chris Sieg of Palmyra, IN; three great-grandchildren, Kailin Sieg, Dylan and Caden Wischmeier. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Andy Hanson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday after 11 a.m. at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon, IN. The family suggest memorial gifts be made to her church.
