She was born in Montour Falls, NY, and had been a resident of Jupiter for 18 years, coming from Ithaca, NY.Prior to retirement, she was a secretary in the justice system with the City of Ithaca and Tompkins County Court in New York.Survivors include her daughter, Michele Pappas of Burgettstown, PA; one sister, Carrie Shipos of Lansing, NY; two grandchildren, Marissa and Anthony Pappas of Burgettstown, PA; four nephews and several great-nephews and great-nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth C. Johnson.The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, Inc., 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, Fla. 33407.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2003 at the Aycock Funeral Home, Jupiter. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial park, West Palm Beach, FL.Friends are invited to meet with the family from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
