LEWIS, VIRGINIA NUSS, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Baptist East Hospital, with her family at her side. She retired from National Distillery KDW Plant and was a charter member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Lewis; a grandson, Larry Ferguson Jr.; and brothers, Cornelius W. Nuss and Alvin H. Nuss. She is survived by children, Shirley Ferguson Trent (Kenny) and Marvin Ray Lewis (Sissy); sisters, Alice Summers (Carl) and Stella Ann Thompson (Jack); and grandchildren, Laura Ferguson Hunter, Greg Ferguson (Vicki), Chris Ferguson (Tammy), and Melissa Nalley (Brian); and nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many loving family members and friends. The funeral Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at her church, 7335 Southside Drive, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Sunday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive.
