Virginia "Ginger" Marie Johnson, age 76, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Monday, July 19, 2010, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.Ginger was born on Oct. 9, 1933, in Opp, Ala., a daughter of the late Wade T. Griffin and Marguerite Woodbury Griffin. Ginger was an operations clerk for the U.S. Government. Ginger enjoyed ceramics. Her family remembers her as a loving wife and mother.She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard Griffin. She is survived by three sons, David Johnson and his wife Tina of Pensacola, Fla., Glenn Johnson of Los Angeles, and Paul Johnson and his wife Debbie of Montgomery, Ala.; a daughter, Wendy Johnson of Enterprise, Ala.; a grandson, Douglas Johnson of Pensacola; and niece Marie.Arrangements are entrusted to Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road N.E., Fort Walton Beach.
