VIRGINIA MARIE JACKSON Virginia Marie Jackson, 56, died Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Florida. Virginia (Jinny) was born in Needham, Massachusetts in 1957 and moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1966. She attended the Indian River County School System and Indian River State College. She was a long time Walmart employee and a 22 year member of the New Port Club in Vero Beach. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph of Vero Beach. Also surviving are her mother, Norma O'Connor, sister, Kathy Parker and brother, Kevin O'Connor all of Vero Beach. Also brother Paul O'Connor of Wenatchee, Washington, sister Mary O'Connor of Canton, Georgia and brother, John O'Connor of Fort Pierce, Fl. She was preceded in death by her father, John O'Connor in 1998. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 15th 2013 between five and seven P.M. at Lowther Funeral Home, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, Fl. In lieu of Flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The New Port Club, 2536 16th Ave., Vero Beach, Fl. 32960.
