She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Smith, her son Francis John Smith and her granddaughter Danielle Smith-Mitchell. She is survived by her 2 sons, Arthur Smith and Earl Smith of Putnam Valley, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Company and the Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corps. She was also a lifetime member of Grace Methodist Church. Friends may visit on Tuesday 8/13/13 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME in Putnam Valley. The funeral service will be held on 08/14/13 at Grace Methodist church at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corps or the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department in her name.
