->Smith, Virginia M.Binghamton: Virginia M. Smith, 69, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2011, in her sleep. She was the loving daughter of Howard and Helen Grier. She is survived by loving sister-in-law, Ceil Grier; loving brothers, Kenneth (Alice) Grier and Doug (Trina) Grier; her sons, James Brennan and Lawrence J. Smith; her daughter, Donna Marie Smith; her grandchildren, who were the apples of her eye, Shawnta M. Smith, Jerimiah S. Smith, Daniel L. Smith, Matthew R. Smith, and Brittany Brennan; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Smith, Hunter Smith, Ryleigh Smith, Raiden Smith, and one who is yet to be; also surviving are many nieces and nephews who were loved greatly. Virginia was a member of The Little White Church. Let us grieve for Virginia, for the life she should have had. Let us pray for the meek and simple minded, God bless Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
