DAVIS, Virginia Katharine 89, was carried home by Jesus May 20 from Bayfront Hospital. Born in Enid, OK to Fletcher W. & Katharine Rutledge Davis. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1945. Virginia worked in bookkeeping at Florida Power. She was brilliant working with numbers and always prepared her own taxes. She cared for her invalid mother until her passing. A faithful member of 1st Methodist for over 60 years. Virginia is survived by nieces, Katharine Green Boyer (Greg), Gail Green Catasus (Ralph), & Robert W. Green (Heather). There will be a visitation at First United Methodist Church of St. Petersburg, 212 Third St. N, St. Petersburg, in the chapel at 10 on Saturday, May 28. followed by a Funeral Service at 11.
