GREEN CREEK, NC -->Virginia Jackson Jones GREEN CREEK, NC-- Virginia Jackson Jones, 80, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late John and Francis Constance Jackson and wife of the late Charles Edward Jones. She was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church and worked in textiles. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Jones and wife Katherine; a brother, Bill Jackson; a sister, Hazel Horne; and two grandchildren, Bryson and Alexandria Jones. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son, Johnny Jones; a brother, James Jackson; and a sister, Wilma Jackson. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 11 , 2015 at Silver Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Chris Osborn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the burial until 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pea Ridge Baptist Church Youth Group Camp Caswell Fund; 8732 NC Highway 108 East; Mill Spring, NC 28756.
