DELAND - Virginia Irene Freeman, 89, of Eighth Avenue, a registered nurse with the DeLand Naval Air Station Hospital, the former West Volusia Memorial Hospital and Dr. Dunton, died Thursday at Alliance Center for Health Care. A native of Hampton, Tenn., Mrs. Freeman moved here in 1947 from Allentown, Pa. She was a member of Christ Community Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Survivors include two sons, John, Orange City, and Paul, DeLand; and three granddaughters. Memorial donations may be made to Focus on the Family, Colorado Springs, CO 80995. Lankford, DeLand, is in charge.
