April 3, 2003 Virginia I. Davis age 77 former Clay and Baldwinsville resident died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Menetto to the late Wendell L. and Gertrude G. Bradley Davis she was a Registered Nurse at Crouse Irving Hospitals' Premie Unit, and a member of Crouse Irving Alumni Association, Phoenix VFW Post 5540 Ladies Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at Canton Woods Senior Center in Baldwinsville. Survived by two sisters Roberta Higgs of Phoenix, Geraldene Gates of Pennellville, a niece Martha Ferens, four nephews Douglas Higgs, Donald Gates, David Gates, Thomas Gates, Several Grand Nieces, Several Grand Nephews. Services are Saturday 11 a.m. at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rt. 31, Baldwinsville. Burial Tuesday 11:30 a.m. Graveside Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours are Friday 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Activity Fund Seneca Hill Manor, 20 Manor Dr., Oswego, NY 13126.
