Virginia "Ginny" Hill Haynes June 20, 2010 Virginia "Ginny" Hill Haynes, 77, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, June 20, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Byron and Eva Ransom. She resided in Tully her entire life, where she raised a large family, which were the center of her life. Ginny volunteered at University Hospital in the heart unit for 26 years. As a member of the First Baptist Church in Jamesville, she developed a strong faith, which helped get her through many difficulties that she faced throughout her life. She will always be remembered for her smiling face and warm personality. She was predeceased by her first husband, D. Richard Hill; her brothers, Lawrence and Floyd Ransom; and her grandchildren, Whitney and Trevor. She leaves behind to cherish many memories her husband of 41 years, Chuck; her sons, Jim (Lisa), Steve ((Maggie), Tim (Kathy), John (Julie) and Dale; her daughters, Angie, (Bob) Fisher and Dawn (Tim) Porter; her brother, Don Ransom; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, in the First Baptist Church 5833 E. Seneca Tpk. Interment: Tully Cemetery. Friends may call at Hartwell Funeral Home, 11 Clinton St., Tully, on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Contributions may be made to Tully Ambulance Service.
