-->Virginia H. Davis DUNCAN, SC-- Virginia Lee Hall Davis, 81, of 801 Woods Chapel Road, widow of Melvin Bernard Davis, died November 24, 2007 at Waccamaw Community Hospital. A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Manson Allen and Minnie Lee Eubanks Hall, she was a homemaker and a member of Lyman First Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Betsy Davis and Thomas N. Meccia of Duncan and Amy Davis and Billy J. Hammett of Spartanburg; a brother, Jack Hall, Jr. of Lyman; one sister, Mary Pruitt of Wellford; three grandchildren, Lauren and Valerie Meccia and MacKenzie Peace; and two step-grandchildren Shaun and Pamela Hammett. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Roddy and a step-son, Michael B. Davis. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lyman First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Gideon Long. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lyman First Baptist Church.
