LEE, Virginia G. Virginia G. Lee, age 98, of Marietta, GA passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 10am on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Sandy Springs Christian Church, 301 Johnson Ferry Road, with Rev. Linda Whitmire officiating. Mrs. Lee's cremains will be buried in Miami, FL at a later date. A native of Indiana, Mrs. Lee lived in Florida for most of her life, before moving to Marietta in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion, her son, Eugene Lee, and her grandson, Phillip Steinmetz. Survivors include her Daughter: Frances (Lawrence) Steinmetz, Marietta, GA, Sister: Mary Ann Bodine, Chattanooga, TN, 2 Grandchildren: Misty Gentle and Susan McCluskey, 5 Great Grandchildren: Michael, Justin, Garrett, Tabitha, and Emma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winnwood Retirement Community in memory of Virginia Lee, 100 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064.
