November 3, 2004 Virginia G. Bazydlo Smith, 82, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, met peacefully with the Lord on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was a life resident of the Syracuse area. Mrs. Smith was an accomplished seamstress, an avid bingo player, and number one Elvis fan. Her great-granddaughter, Isis Sahara Smith who died December 31, 2002, predeceased her. Survivors: her son, William H. (Debbie) Smith of Syracuse; twin daughters, Alice (Norm) Fredericks, Rosa Moro, both of East Syracuse; daughters, Patty (Tam) Shuford of FL, Jane (Bernie) Kopp of East Syracuse, and Donna (Jim) Barbetta of Syracuse; sister, Harriet Demjanec of Nedrow; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; best friend "Zoie". Funeral services Monday 9:15 a.m. from FARONE & SON, and 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
