BUFFALO, SC-- Mrs. Virginia Edwards Smith, 79, of 138 Pine Street, Buffalo, SC, widow of Boyd Smith, died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Wallace Thomson Hospital.Mrs. Smith was born November 13, 1926 in Jonesville, Virginia, a daughter of the late William N. and Maude Duncan Edwards. She attended schools in Virginia, and retired from Ottaray Mill. Mrs. Smith was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.Survivors are a daughter, Rosa Rogers and husband Ronald of Roebuck; a grandson, Christopher Scott of Roebuck; a brother, George Edwards and wife Eddis of Augusta, GA; a sister, Ethel Thompson and husband Loyd of Union; two sisters-in-law, Lillie Mae Eubanks and Evelyn Ford, both of Union; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by two sisters, Rosa Hodges and Myrtle DePew.The family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2005, at the funeral home.Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2005 at Union Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev.
