Virginia Lee Hall Davis, 81, of 801 Woods Chapel Road, widow of Melvin Bernard Davis, died Nov. 24, 2007, at Waccamaw Community Hospital.A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Manson Allen and Minnie Lee Eubanks Hall, she was a homemaker and a member of Lyman First Baptist Church.Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Betsy Davis and Thomas N. Meccia of Duncan and Amy Davis and Billy J. Hammett of Spartanburg; a brother, Jack Hall, Jr. of Lyman; one sister Mary Pruitt of Wellford; three grandchildren, Lauren and Valerie Meccia and MacKenzie Peace; and two stepgrandchildren Shaun and Pamela Hammett.Mrs. Davis was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Roddy and a stepson, Michael B. Davis.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lyman First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Gideon Long.
