JACKSON, VIRGINIA D. "GINNY"Alachua - Jackson, Virginia D. Ginny of Alachua, died March 17, 2007. She was born in Wilcoe, WV and moved to Alachua 29 years ago from Miami, FL. She retired from Environmental Health and was an avid "Gator Fan". She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas F. Jackson of Alachua; daughter, Deanna E. McClain of Beebe, AR; son, Kyle R. Gibbs of Delray Beach, FL; three stepdaughters; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial services have been changed. They will be held at E. T. York Hospice Care Center Chapel, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL on Friday, March 23, at 11 00 AM with Chaplain Kathy Hodges officiating. At Mrs. Jackson's request, in lieu of flowers and plants, donations can be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75304 or to the Danny Wuerffel Desire Street Ministries, P.O. Box 5587, Destin, FL 32540. Arrangements are under the care of FOREST MEADOWS FUNERAL HOME, CEMETERIES, AND CREMATORY.
