Johnson, Virginia B. Pittsford: December 16, 2009, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 88. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Jake; daughter, Deeanne Bevin; son, David Johnson; grandchildren, Dayna, Seth, Jacob & Sophia; and great-grand babies Noelani, Eoin and Lucy. Virginia was a member of Mendon Church and as a deacon was always available to others for help and comfort. Whether holding sick babies at Rochester Maternal and Adoption Service or attending to the terminally ill at Isaiah House, she was well known for spreading the words, "I love you." Like her favorite flower, the daisy, she was…simply delightful! May she be greeted by her devoted son, Gregg, as well as other loved ones gone before her. A Celebration of Ginnie's life and her 67 years of marriage with Jake will be held at 2:00 PM on December 30th at Westminster Hall and Chapel, 3886 Rush Mendon Rd., Mendon, NY (formerly Mendon Presbyterian Church).
