MORRISON Violet June 10, 1914 March 17, 2008 The family sadly announces the passing of Violet (nee Hunt) Morrison on Monday, March 17, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Violet is survived by her son, Keith; daughter, Sharon (Morley) Fraser; daughter-in-law, Judi (Raymond) Rustad; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Vi was predeceased by her husband, Alf; son, Neil; daughter-in-law, Hazel; parents, Herbert and Eva Hunt; two brothers; and four sisters. She was born and raised in the Barrier Lake School District and married Alf in 1938. They retired from farming in 1983 and moved to Humboldt. Vi lived in Humboldt until 2000, when she moved to Saskatoon to be near her family. She was a very loving person, an especially loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. Her family always came first. The five great grandchildren were her greatest joy in the past five years. Vi loved having company and the kettle was always on. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Church in Rose Valley, SK.
