CARMEL and NEWBURGH - Violet Louise Davis, 69, died Dec. 7, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1942, in Carmel, a daughter of Robert and Winnie (Maloon) Boyle. She is survived by two brothers, David Boyle of Rockville, Conn., and Prince Sewall of Newburgh; and three sisters, Beatrice Smith of Lewiston, Birdean Flood of Newburgh and Betty Zamsky of West Stafford, Conn. Violet was predeceased by a brother, Sumner Sewall Sr. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport.
