ObituaryViolet E. Johnson, 84, of Fort Myers Beach, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2003. She was born April 5, 1919 in Marion Township, OH. and has lived here since moving from North Baltimore, OH. in 1976. She was a homemaker and attended the Methodist Church. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her two children, Terry Johnson and Wende Mellott, both of Fort Myers Beach; a granddaughter, Amy Houser (Jon) of Fort Myers Beach; three brothers, Glenn C. Parsons and Darrell Dean Parsons, both of North Baltimore, OH. and Gaylord Parsons of Fayette, OH; two sisters, Audrey Schuster and Marvelle Harris, both of North Baltimore, OH. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Johnson in 2002 and two sisters, Bernette Higley in 1997 and Letha Gainer in 2003. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with interment to follow. Funeral arrangements have been handled by Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers.
