Viola Morrison, 85, the daughter of the late OK and the Jessie Mae (nee Martin) Carter, went home to be with Lord on Tuesday September 10, 2010 while a patient a patient at the memorial Hospital of Salem Co. Mannington. She was an area resident for over 40 years coming here from Paulsboro, NJ. Viola Morrison was married to the late Willie Morrison. She was employed as a custodian engineer for over 10 years at Shady Lane in Clarksboro, NJ and Del Monte Swedesboro, NJ. She is survived by her children: Louis K. Lopez, Joan Lopez, Cornell Lopez, Franchot Carter, Warren OK Lopez, Daniel McCray, Almira McCray, and William Morrison. Siblings: Lucille, Roscoe, Russell, and Percy Carter. 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. A host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at Haven United Methodist Church, Bridgeton-Millville Pike on Saturday, September 18, 2010, 11am. Family and friends may attend a viewing at the church Saturday two hours prior to the services. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
