Viola Mae (Hammond) White was born January 19, 1959, and died October 13, 2009, in St. John's Hospital, in Springfield, at the age of 50. Viola was a caring person and greatly enjoyed working with the elderly as a C.N.A. She was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Easley; and her brother, Jerry D. Speake Jr. Viola is survived by her daughter, Sherry Easley; and a large extended family. A memorial service will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Saturday, October 17, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left at the funeral home.
