Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Victoria Huff, who went to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 21, 2007. The Rev. Jimmy Bailey will officiate. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge.She would have celebrated her 86th birthday on Wednesday, Sept. 26.Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; and by her mother, Martha Heister.She is survived by her children, Martha Ann (Hugh) Otwell, Gadsden, Adell (R.F.) Matthews, Valley, Glenda Swords, Albertville, Walter (Martha Jay) Huff, Boaz, Bobby (Patsy) Huff, Attalla, Robert (Cathy) Huff, Springville, Frances (Tulis) Cornelius, Attalla, Danny (Judy) Huff, Conway, S.C., Dennis (Theresa) Huff, Attalla, and Jean (Lynn) Oden, Gallant.; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Parham, Perrysburgh, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Shane Butts, Wyatt Cornelius, Brian Huff, Gary Huff, Kevin Huff, Casey Knight, Brandon Stanfield and Mike Vaughn.A special thank you to a longtime family friend and often called the "adopted daughter," Betty Brooks.Also, thank you to Dr. Debra Reiland for the many kindnesses she extended to our mother.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
