Vickie was employed with the Leon County School Board as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Killearn United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Garry Johnson; sons, Brian Johnson of Holly Springs, N.C. and Alan Johnson of Tallahassee; mother, Chris Phillips of Burlington, N.C.; father, Glenn Phillips; sister, Lynnette Thacker (Danny ) of Mebane, N.C. and brother, Bill Phillips (Paula) of Taylorsville, N.C.
