Vernon "Roger" Brown, age 67 of Winter Garden, FL passed away on January 12, 2014. He was born in Hamilton, Alabama on April 12, 1946. He worked as a telephone repair man for Southern Bell in Hollywood, FL and in Central Florida prior to his retirement in 1979 due to a spinal cord injury. Roger was a member of the First Baptist Church of Central Florida. Roger is survived by his wife, Bonnie Brown; his children: Carl Brown, Jeannie Brown (Barry) Mariner and Janet Brown McDermott; his mother, 1 brother; 2 sisters and by his 7 grandchildren. A Celebration of Roger's Life will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 3 PM at the First Baptist Church of Central Florida, 700 Good Homes Rd. Orlando.
