BROWN, Verna Mary (Nee Wilson) - Peacefully on April 21, 2009 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Clifford W. Brown (1977). Loving mother to Ed Brown (Gayla) of Ottawa, Melodye Levesque of Kingston and predeceased by son Bill Brown (2009). Cherished grandmother to Criss, Penny, Amanda, Allen and Maryann. Proud Great grandmother to 6 great grandchildren. Verna is survived by brother John Wilson (Marjorie) of Bancroft. Predeceased by her parents David and Mary Wilson, siblings Harold, Howard, Edward, Anita and Floyd. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring Staff and Doctor's at Friendly Manor Nursing Home. Family and friends will be received at the Trousdale Funeral Home in Sydenham on Thursday, April 23, 2009 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Cremation to follow. A private family burial at Sydenham Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Epilepsy Kingston in memory of Verna.
