BROWN, VERNA LOUISE, 90, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She is the only child of her parents, and is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse I. Brown, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Jesse, Tommy (Mimie), Roger (Debbie), Mark (Sheryl), Jeffrey, and Michael (Terri) Brown; her daughters, Diane Druen (Phillip), Gloria Sanders (David, Sr.), Phyllis Brown, Paula Brown, Robin Basham (John) and Wanda Bensing (Steve); 35 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from noon to 8 p.m. at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home of the Innocents.
