DAVIS, Vera Mrs. Vera F. Davis, wife of the late George L. Davis, passed August 29, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm. at Rock Temple A.M.E. Church 1021 Bryant St, Conyers, GA 30012. Remains in state at Church from 12 noon to hour of service. Reverend Alfred N. Vaughn, Pastor, Reverend Marilyn Levett Brown, Eulogist. Interment at Green Meadows Cemetery. Left to honor her heritage are daughters, Jacquelin L. Swann (Joel) and Linda D. Hall (Anthony); grandchildren, Jamal K. Ameen (Christa), Andrea J. Swann and Lyllian J. Swann; great grandchild, Tyler J. Langford; sisters and brother, Mrs. Annie L. Benton, Mrs. Sarah S. Gilstrap and Mr. Robert D. Flanigan, Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other cherished relatives and friends. Visitation on Thursday (TODAY) between 12 noon and 8 pm.
