Veglia Anna Anderson, age 85, of West Frankfort, IL. passed away at 2:10 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2008 in Eufaula, OK. She was born December 4, 1922 in Worden, IL. to Frank and Elvria (Defillipo) Boster. She worked for many years at Ann's IGA in West Frankfort, IL. She owned and operated the bowling alley in West Frankfort, IL for many years. She retired from Norge in 1988. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in West Frankfort, IL. She was also a member of the Bowling Association and International Association of Machinist Aerospace. Veglia is survived by her daughter: Rita (Bill) Bradley of Eufaula, OK.; grandson: Dr. Kevin G. (Elizabeth) Bradley of Eufaula, OK.; two great-grandchildren: Bella and Griffin Bradly; sister-in-law: Phyllis Boster of Collinsville, IL.; four nephews: Michael Rude of Marion, IL., Richard Rude of Coulterville, IL., Aaron Rude of Springfield, IL., and Dr. Frank Boster of Mason, MI.; niece: Tamara Boster Rampold of Collinsville, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband George on January 9, 1976; her parents; brother Tony on May 6, 2007; sister Nena Elizabeth Rude on May 7, 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, IL. with Father Trevor Murry officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale, IL.
