Virginia Palmer Smith of White Plains, NY and more recently Mahopac NY passed away on December 25, 2009. Born on September 29, 1926 in San Francisco, California to Seymour C Palmer and Virginia Murray Palmer. A graduate of Stamford University and a buyer for B. Altman & Company, Ginny was married it the late Stephen George Smith (1925-1989). She is survived by her sister Barbara P Hudson, Cousin Dr. Frederick P Murray and three children: Stephen C Smith, Robert M Smith and Virginia Leigh Moll along with five grandchildren. A private service will be held on Monday, December 28; interment will be at Kensico Cemetery. Ginny was an avid reader and supporter of her local library.
