V. Lenora Wright, 92, Brownstown, died at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mrs. Wright was a member of Surprise United Methodist Church and the widows' group in the church. A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting and loved her dogs and cat. Born Aug. 1, 1915, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Frank and Malinda Mahurin Coffman. On Sept. 16, 1936, in Jackson County, she married Henry E. Wright, who preceded her in death Aug. 17, 1990. Survivors include a daughter, Connie (Gilbert) Hoene, Seymour; two grandsons, Brent (Maryellen) Hoene and Benjamin (Amy) Hoene; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Samuel and Cara Hoene. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Leona Ault, Gladys Stogdill, Mary Woodson and Oma Isaacs, and two brothers, Dale Coffman and Orem "Shorty" Coffman. David Ison will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Surprise United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Acme Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.
